Orenburg Down Shawl, Album, 2012

The album traces the origins, development, and present-day evolution of the Orenburg down-knitting tradition; describes the use of the Orenburg down shawl in folk and urban women's dress; and includes knitting patterns for the delicate "gossamer" shawl. The publication features photographs from the collections of the Orenburg Regional Museum of Fine Arts and the State Archive of the Orenburg Region.
