This is the second and most comprehensive edition of a book devoted to the history of the Orenburg down shawl. Its author, Irina Vladimirovna Bushukhina, spent more than 20 years studying and promoting the craft. As an art historian and museum specialist, she curated shawl exhibitions in England, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Denmark, and many Russian cities. The book reveals the rich and diverse world of the Orenburg craft as an integral part of Russian culture.
